Our newest addition

We would like to welcome little Joslyn Nadia Rowe to the our family. Our daughter Kimberly gave birth to her on October 14th at 3:50 pm. Ken and I flew out to Virginia to visit Kim and her family and were able to be there when little Joslyn was born.

We'll Be Flying High

Dad and I have booked airline tickets to Virginia (with the help of Kim) - That's right! On Saturday, October 14, we'll be flying to Virginia Beach to visit our newest granddaughter, Baby Rowe (yet to be named). We plan on staying until Monday, October 20. Baby Rowe is due on October 7, but who knows when she'll actually decide to come. We all know her Mom's special talent with time management......They say first babies are usually late.
I don't know if there will be time, but I'd love to visit the area I lived in for a year back in 1969. Wow, has it been a long time? To much to think about right now so I'll think about tomorrow.

Latest happenings!

I started back to school this week. Man, was it crazy. So many registrations (mostly spanish). We are almost at 800 students. Tomorrow the teachers return and it's especially hard to get anything done, except what the teachers need.

Today was really good. I felt great and Dad and I attended the whole block! Our YSA class was especially good and so was RS.

Cami, Kenyon, Colby and Adelle were here for dinner and afterwards we played dominos (Colby won). Everyone encouraged me to update my blog. Thanks, Colbs, for the help.

The article in the Deseret News about the spider problem in Saratogo Springs was exciting because they interviewed Colin. Great job, son, sounds like you need to get an exterminator (Mom wrote "the terminator," but I, Colby, had to change it to "exterminator" during the proofreading process. Ha ha!)..........

Has anyone be watching the Olympics? What about that Michael Phelps!? I've really enjoyed them this year....I'll talk to everyone later.....excited that Kevin, Sarah and Simon will be up next week. See everyone for dinner and FHE.

Our Visit to Arizona

Ken and I took two trips to Arizona to see our little grandbaby Simon. Here are a few pictures for our trips. The second trip we took was to watch our son Kevin receive his Master's Degree of Social Work. We are so proud of him as we are of all of our children.

Our newest little angel Simon

Grandma and Simon, he is such a little cuddlier!

Grandpa and Simey

Simon special day, his father gave him a very special blessing. Grandpa Ken and his other grandpa were able to participate in this special event in his life.

Bath time for little Simon. He loves splashing in the water.

Family Trip to the Zoo

Today we went to the Zoo with the family. It rained, we walked, it rained again, yet we kept on walking. We saw tons of animals, including the dangerous Kenerang (as seen in the picture below)

It was really a lot of fun even though it rained most of the time. The zoo has really grown since I saw it last (about 15 or so years ago).

Our new blog page

I am here with my favorite daughter Camille who convinced me to start my own blog page. This is going to be a work in progress, so be patient with me. We thought it would be a good way to stay in touch with our children who are living outside of Utah.
